The Training and Placement Cell is headed by . J. Sunil Apart from a Training & Placement Officer, a committee, with one faculty member and one student member from each department, helps the cell function effectively by coordinating its activities. This committee would prepare a plan of training activities in the beginning of every academic year that helps to the students to achieve better placements. The main objectives of the Training and Placement cell are to –
-Let the students realize the importance of acquiring the skill sets in demand that companies are looking out for.
-To reduce the gap between academics and industry needs, series of training programmes will be provided to the students.
-Help the students get internship opportunities
-Provide campus interviews for the final year students.
